Quantity Surveyor

Sami Najami Engineering & Projects Ltd. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Acre. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate quantity measurement, cost control, and commercial management of industrial construction and metal fabrication projects. You will play a key part in ensuring projects remain on budget while supporting profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform ongoing quantity verification throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct cost analysis, prepare estimates, and maintain effective budget control.
- Manage variations, additions, and deductions in accordance with contractual agreements.
- Produce periodic commercial reports and present project status updates to management.
- Coordinate regularly with project managers, the engineering department, procurement, and finance teams.
- Support pricing processes and the preparation of commercial proposals as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased project profitability.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Practical Engineer in Construction, Construction Management, or a related field (advantage).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or in a Cost Control role within the construction and infrastructure sector (mandatory).
- Experience in industrial construction projects (significant advantage).
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory).
- Experience with ERP systems such as Priority (advantage).
- Good command of English – reading and writing.
